  • Common areas grounds maintenance
I am curious why the common areas in our neighborhood is not being maintained. The grass has obviously not been cut at all this spring (it is going to seed!) and will be overrun by broadleaf weeds if nothing is done soon. Has the irrigation system been started up yet? Warm weather is coming and the grass will turn brown very quickly. It is a shame to drive in to such a great neighborhood and see it so neglected. Has the HOA decided on a new management company? The sooner the better, to get these problems under control.
  • park
The park is owned, operated and maintained by the City of Post Falls, not the HOA.
The signs will be fixed when money is available to do so.
  • street parking
seems that I may have nothing better to do; but I am a very busy person. BUT!! why have CCR's if they aren't enforced. For about a month or so now, there are more and more commercial work vehicles being parked on the streets on white sands and other streets in fieldstone. Streets are narrow; and when a tow truck, etc. parks overnite in front of their home it makes it difficult to navigate down the road; and children are difficult to see on their bikes in the evening. Isn't this aganist CCR's?
  • NON COMLIANCE/AC
why are so many homes using air cond. in the windowns when it is aganist hoa to do so. It looks unsightly and tacky. and hoa needs to look at the unsightly high weeds in unfenced back yards. Demotes property values of surrounding homes and extreme fire hazard.
  • common area
I suppose a good reason for the area looking so shabby is a reaction to so many homeowners not paying their hoa dues. It does take monies to maintain an area, just as it does a home. Which brings me to another area of my own concern. Seems many homeowners are putting those dang basketball post up again in the streets, which aren't seen at nite, and people are not fencing their yards who have dogs; large or small. Dog runs are not considered fences. I take pride in how my home appears, and it disturbs me when my neighbors do nothing to maintain the upkeep of their home. It brings the value/appearance of my home down. If you can't maintain a home, maybe an alternative living style should be considered. And cut down those 4 foot high weeds in your back yard. Heck for all of you concerned about the commons looking bad, look at some of our neighbors and their yards. They're far worse and more particularily are major fire hazards to adjoining homes. Clean up your environment or move out!

  • common area
The commons are looking so much better: greener, weeds disappearing, dead trees being removed. Thank you.
Now lets get homeowners to take care of their yards.
  • looking better
have to say that the new landscapers hired, Prestiige landscaping has worked hard and quickly and regularly to make are common area much more appealing. The tall weeds are gone, lawns are greening up. It's nice to once again see our common area taken care of. Over at the Landings/Hawks Nest there is a beautiful park being done that will include water play area for kids and nice swings. our 7 acre park really does need some improvement in this area. Its dry, hot and doesn't have anything for the little ones to play on.. A nice water area would be nice to have.
  • common areas
I noticed one homeowner wrote in about how bad the common areas look. I'd like to add my voice to theirs. We all pay $240 a year for maintenance of our development. So far this year all I've seen is some late lawn mowers and lots of weed seed blowing into our yards. The sprinklers are not on. Have I missed something? How do we find out what's going on with the lack of care?
    Thanks
  • Common Areas
I agree with the other submissions on the upkeep of our neighborhoods. I'd also like to know when the sign will be fixed. It may seem like a minor issue, but the missing letters from Fieldstone are quite annoying. This combined with the lack of care for our neighborhood is really adding up.
  • HOA Fees
If we are to pay the fees, where are they being spent. Obviously not on up keep of the area. Dead grass, dead trees, no sprinkler systems running that I have seen. Who is our representative and how do we get ahold of them. When are there any HOA meetings that homeowners can attend to address these problems and much more. This edition has drastically declined since I moved in here in 2007. I have made all atempts to keep my property at and above standards. But, looking around it is a different story. Unkept yards with trash and refuse stored in the way between homes. Development property turning into jungles, construction waste scattered about. Just please tell me what these 'FEES' cover and how thety have been used. I must attest that absolutely nothing was done during winter except for a few by-way sidewalks be attempted to clear. No place to walk my dog or me for that matter.
  • NON COMPLIANE
isn't this a family neighborhood? isn't parking across the sidewalks aganist the ccr's? why are so many people doing this. It really makes walking with your kids a hassle and at times a danger. Please park your cars as you are suppose too.
Drove through the Hawks nest development the other day. Man are they getting a top notch park with water play area like bunchgrass park, beautiful play equipment etc. I think our park could definitely use some updating and kid friendly facilities. It isn't a park that is considered very useful by young children; is used as a hangout and a few hoops.
